Article 1 – Purpose

These general terms and conditions of sale (GTC) govern the contractual relationship between Noren Café (the “Seller”) and any natural or legal person making a purchase on norencafe.fr (the “Customer”).

Any order implies unreserved acceptance of these GTC.

Article 2 – Products

The products offered are those shown on the site on the day of consultation, subject to available stock. Photographs and descriptions are as accurate as possible but cannot guarantee a perfect match with the product, particularly regarding colours and the natural variations of artisanal materials (ceramic, stoneware, wood, bamboo).

As each handcrafted piece may show slight variations in shade, texture or finish, these differences do not constitute a defect.

Article 3 – Prices

Prices are shown in euros including all taxes, excluding shipping costs. Shipping costs are stated before the order is confirmed.

The Seller reserves the right to change its prices at any time. Products are invoiced on the basis of the rates in force when the order is confirmed.

Article 4 – Orders

The Customer confirms their order after checking the contents of their basket, their contact details and their delivery address. Confirmation constitutes acceptance of the prices, descriptions and GTC.

A confirmation email summarising the order is sent to the Customer. The Seller reserves the right to cancel any order involving a payment dispute or showing anomalies.

Article 5 – Payment

Payment is made online by bank card, or by any other method offered at checkout. Transactions are secured by Shopify Payments.

The order is processed once payment has been effectively received.

Article 6 – Delivery

Delivery terms, times and costs are detailed in our shipping policy.

If delivery is delayed by more than 30 days, the Customer may request cancellation of their order and a full refund.

Article 7 – Right of withdrawal

The Customer has 14 days from receipt to exercise their right of withdrawal. This right applies to all items, including those bought on sale or with a discount code.

The refund covers the amount actually paid for the item, discount deducted. In the event of a partial return, conditional benefits obtained on the order (free shipping above a given amount, a discount subject to a minimum purchase) are recalculated if the retained items no longer meet their conditions.

Article 8 – Promotions and discount codes

Unless stated otherwise, discount codes cannot be combined with each other or with an ongoing promotion. They are valid for the period stated when issued and may be limited to one use per customer.

A single-use code applied to a cancelled or returned order is not reissued.

Article 9 – Guarantees

All products benefit from the statutory guarantee of conformity (Articles L217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) and the guarantee against hidden defects (Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code).

Article 10 – Personal data

The data collected is necessary to process orders. In accordance with the GDPR, the Customer has a right of access, rectification, erasure and portability of their data. See our privacy policy.

Article 11 – Intellectual property

All elements of the site (texts, images, logos, graphic design) are protected by intellectual property law. Any reproduction without authorisation is prohibited.

Article 12 – Dispute resolution

These GTC are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the Customer may use a consumer mediator free of charge or the European online dispute resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

Failing an amicable settlement, the French courts alone have jurisdiction.
